Everyone is familiar with the Boys & Girls Club (BGC) of America and the impact that the national organization has made on America over its 100+ years of existence. The national BGC is sponsored by Major League Baseball and various other high profile businesses because of the continuing impact that the organization has on communities.
Our tournament specifically support the Boys & Girls Club of the Los Angeles Harbor because we feel it is not your typical Boys & Girls Club. This club goes above and beyond their call of duty and further is located in one of the tougher areas of Los Angeles County. The BGC of the Los Angeles Harbor is not just one club, but it is actually made up of four clubs/locations serving the children of Wilmington and San Pedro, California. Second, their commitment to the children of this area is phenomenal. With programs such as their College Bound program, they are not just interested in providing a safe haven for kids through their high school years, but they are also extremely interested in helping kids get to college and the next level.
